I am a professional, trained filmmaker. A brief is where the conversation starts. I bring my own creative choices to it, the way any director does, and I protect the story from the first frame to the last.
Story first
Every choice serves the story, and the story gets told the way it is meant to be told. A frame that looks beautiful but does not move the story does not stay in the film.
The laws of filmmaking hold
Continuity, screen direction, coverage, pacing and sound follow the same rules as on any film set. AI changes how the shots are made. It does not change how a film works.
A director makes the choices
Performance, camera, light, rhythm and the cut are decisions I direct. I write, board, direct and cut, and I answer for the result.
